The ground is moving under our feet—attention, trust, identity, and community are being rewired, and this WIRe session will be focused on how we get ready for the future ahead of us.

After a round of bingo and casual networking to energize the group, we will be treated to a session from Prof. Gemma Calvert, who will explore 3 core themes:

  • People & culture now: What’s changed in the social fabric—how we feel, choose, and share—and why traditional measurement needs to change. 
  • The new world for brands: How brands are adapting to this new reality and earning attention, signaling values, and designing moments that matter.
  • Experiments in measurement: Practical innovation with neuroscience and AI-assisted analysis - what works, what doesn’t, and what checks and balances to implement.

Professor Gemma Calvert is Professor of Neuromarketing at Nanyang Business School and Deputy Director of NTU’s Nanyang Centre for Marketing Technologies. Recognized in Stanford’s Top 2% of scientists, she co-founded Split Second Research and has served on the World Economic Forum’s Neuroscience Panel. Her work appears in Science, Nature, Nature Neuroscience and has been featured by Time, The Economist, BBC, CNA.
